Book A Stay

The philosophy of the stunning Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort is the pursuit of wellness and respect for the environment, making it the perfect travel destination for anyone looking to recharge their batteries in beautiful natural surroundings – especially keen golfers.

Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort in Porto Ercole, Tuscany, has officially joined the world’s largest and most prestigious hospitality group, Marriott International. The resort, the only one with the PGA National Italy recognition, has become the first 5-star resort in Italy and one of the few golf resorts in Europe to be part of Marriott’s golf portfolio.

Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort is also now a member of Marriott Bonvoy. This loyalty program allows all travelers to collect points and transform them into benefits, free stays, and much more.

A series of restyling operations will lead the Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort to join the exclusive Autograph Collection Hotels brand, a collection of independent hotels individually selected by Marriott International for their unique perspectives on design, craftsmanship, and hospitality and with exclusive and luxurious experiences.

Location

Located close to Porto Ercole, this visually stunning hotel offers guests the opportunity to explore the beautiful Maremma area of Tuscany, including the crystal clear waters of the “silver coast” and the cork-oak woods, home to a wide variety of woodland animals and birds. For those who want to explore further afield, Rome is just 140 km away, and Florence is 180 km away.

Style & Character

This stunning design hotel is decked out in shades of black, white, and brown, creating an impressive visual impact. The style is contemporary yet luxurious, with many quirky touches, such as the furry beanbag-style seating in the lobby. Everything is designed with the resort’s philosophy in mind, so you will find yourself in a relaxing, calm environment that perfectly complements its natural surroundings.

Rooms

The Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort offers a choice of accommodations, including superior rooms, suites, junior suites, and independent luxury villas with panoramic terraces or olive-tree gardens for holiday rentals or to purchase for your very own Tuscan escape. Based on a clean, minimalist design, luxurious touches in the main hotel rooms, such as stone bathtubs and chrome plating, add comfort and character.

All rooms have free Wi-Fi and private patios, ideal for soaking up some afternoon sun. Many of the suites enjoy free-standing bathtubs in the bedroom, while most rooms have king-sized beds, some with twin beds instead. Room Tip – the higher floors command lovely views, while the suites here are simply stunning and well worth the extra money.

Service & Facilities

Home to some of the most important tournaments in Italy, the Argentario Golf course is the main attraction of this resort for any keen golfer. Designed by architect David Mezzacane and professional golfer Baldovino Dassù, the challenging 18-hole course offers beautiful panoramic views. Due to the mild local micro-climate, it can be enjoyed all year round.

If you’re not a golfer, there’s still more than enough to keep you entertained. The stunning Espace Wellness Centre is an oasis in white with touches of black and natural wood and offers state-of-the-art spa and wellness facilities, including Technogym equipment, a heated indoor pool with saline water, and bio-sauna with chromotherapy. The hotel also has two tennis courts, two padel courts, a football field, and trails for joggers.

The hotel will also happily arrange boat charters, wine tasting, and cookery courses (on and off-site), horse riding, helicopter transfers, art and shopping tours, sailing courses, diving and more.

Further on-site facilities include a shop, 24-hour room service, garage and outdoor parking, heliport, outdoor and indoor play areas for children, and meeting rooms and event spaces.

Food & Drink

Operating a “zero km” policy, the food at fine dining Restaurant Dama Dama is sourced from nearby farms and the hotel’s own vegetable garden and orchard to create Italian and Tuscan dishes revisited with a creative and modern touch.

Named for the species of deer that makes its home in the woodlands of the Maremma, the restaurant adheres to the eco-friendly and wellness philosophies of the hotel, not just by creating dishes from local organic produce but by offering delicious, healthy, and nutritionally balanced choices to support the health of its guests.

Dinners can be enjoyed in truly stylish surroundings, with the décor echoing a sophisticated, updated vision of a mountain retreat. At the same time, the bar offers the same, featuring a spectacular spiral staircase and tables designed to resemble wild boar.

The Club House is a quintessential restaurant, serving fresh produce from the hotel’s vegetable garden and selected local farms. Evoking comfort and coziness in contemporary surroundings with stunning views, here guests can enjoy typical Argentario cuisine like tortelli al ragù right through to a succulent club sandwich or comforting cheeseburger.

Conclusion

Access to the spa facilities is included when you book a room, but massages or treatments will cost extra. A golfer’s paradise, this beautiful resort is ideal for anyone wanting to nourish mind and body.
