Book A Stay

In the inimitable words of the late Robin Williams, “Goooooood Morning Vietnam!” well, it is if you’re staying at the Palm Garden Beach Resort & Spa in Hoi An.

Location

Set on 12 acres of landscaped tropical gardens with a beachfront location, the design and décor of the Palm Garden Beach Resort & Spa has clearly been influenced by the local culture and people of the ancient city of Hoi An, mix this with a little bit of modern luxury, and you have a truly wonderful escape.

Ideally located, the resort is just 5km away from Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO world heritage site filled with fascinating temples, pagodas, shops, and homes. Hoi An is the place to go if you would like a suit, shirt, or dress made to measure.

Famous for its tailors and seamstresses who can produce quality wardrobes in less than a day! The resort is 55km from My Son Valley, a religious sanctuary from the 4th century with historic temples and towers, and just 3km from Thanh Ha Pottery Village, famous for its earthenware that was sold in many provinces in Central Vietnam.

An excursion not to be missed is a trip to the Cham Islands, where you can go snorkeling or diving, take a guided walk, or enjoy a delicious lunch on an idyllic sandy beach. Finally, if you want to visit the famous cities of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi, they are an hour away, and the resort is just 30 minutes from Danang International airport.

Style & Character

The resort also boasts two pools (one very large for adults with a Jacuzzi in the middle and a smaller one for children), a lovely white sand private beach (the largest private resort beach in Cua Dai), and beautiful lush green gardens. The Palm Spa offers to revitalize and relaxation treatments in private rooms, VIP rooms, and their beauty salon.

Plus, there’s a free-to-use steam bath, sauna, and jacuzzi in the Spa as well. Massage Tip: Try a massage in the pavilion by the beach, listening to the relaxing sounds of the waves – bliss! The resort also has a souvenir shop, kid’s club, billiards, fitness center, business center, and tennis courts as well as offering complimentary scheduled return shuttles to Hoi An four times a day, and if you miss those, taxies are cheap.

Rooms

The Palm Garden Beach Resort & Spa comprises 214 rooms and suites varying from the smaller Superior and Deluxe Rooms to Bungalows with open-air bathtubs, right up to the spacious Suites, the largest of which: the Palm Garden Suite, features almost double the living space of all the other accommodations – perfect for larger groups and families.

All rooms are elegantly furnished and decorated, featuring either a balcony or terrace (except for ten of the new Deluxe Rooms), which overlook the sea or lush green gardens. As you would expect, all the rooms feature queen or twin beds, satellite and cable TV, Wi-Fi access, refrigerator and mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities, daily complementary mineral water, bathrooms with showers or bathtubs, hairdryers, bathrobes and slippers, and individually controlled air conditioning.

Food & Drink

If nothing else, their delicious breakfast in the morning (which is included in your stay) is worth going for with a delicious array of Asian and Western dishes and specialties (tip: try the breakfast Pho and if you can, get a table in the open air as the gentle breeze and wildlife makes your breakfast that little bit more wonderful).

The resort boasts five restaurants and bars, including the Terrace Café, which, as I mentioned earlier, serves an incredible breakfast, and in the evening, it offers a selection of Western, Asian & Vietnamese specialties. The Colibri Beach Restaurant (which interestingly looks like an upturned boat) has a spectacular panoramic view of Cua Dai Beach and provides barbeque seafood, Vietnamese cuisine, Italian specialties, wines, and cocktails.

The Contino Bar has an extensive cocktail list complemented by finger food and light bites and a live band in the evenings. The Breeze Bar, situated on the beach, offers a wide range of refreshing drinks, and finally, the Website, which is beside the main reception, offers a good range of drinks and snacks too. Dining Tip: Although the food in the resort is delicious, the wonderful array of dining establishments in Hoi An and the surrounding area is not to be missed and incredibly good value – try Miss Ly (22 Nguyen Hue St in Hoi An), though do book first as it gets very busy every night.

Conclusion

But it’s not just the breakfast that makes this resort worth a visit. After all, it’s won no fewer than six awards, including the World Luxury Hotel Award 2012 and 2014 and TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence 2011-2014, so you can rest assured that your stay will be something special.

This beautiful resort is ideal for families, couples, and business travelers, and bearing in mind it has attracted numerous international & local events, including APEC Summit, ASEAN Summits, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth, you can rest assured your stay will be something special.
