Book A Stay

If you’ve ever fancied an escape to the jungle but without actually roughing it, then Alma Del Pacifico Beach Hotel & Spa will take a lot of beating.

Location

Located along the beautiful Playa Esterillos Este in Costa Rica’s breathtaking Central Pacific region, Alma Del Pacifico Beach Hotel & Spa gives you the best of both worlds: a secluded, lush jungle hideaway that’s conveniently set right on the beach.

The hotel is located between Jaco Beach’s towns, home to many great restaurants and lively nightlife, and Quepos and is a two-hour drive from San Jose International Airport.

Style & Character

The wildlife here is something else: you can expect to be joined for a sun-downer cocktail by an attractive lizard or two whilst you enjoy watching the endangered scarlet macaws, beautiful big butterflies, and unusual iguanas that are native to Costa Rica.

Rooms

Accommodation at Alma Del Pacifico Beach Hotel & Spa is varied, you can choose between a Garden Bungalow or a Beachfront Villa, both featuring private terraces and gardens, and if you choose a Deluxe Beachfront Villa, you will also enjoy a private plunge pool as well as panoramic views of the beach and ocean. Alternatively, take advantage of one of Alma Del Pacifico’s 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom vacation rental properties, a home-away-from-home, perfect for kicking back and relaxing in with family or friends.

All the properties are beautifully decorated with vibrant, colorful décors, reflecting Costa Rica’s lively and colorful culture. Room Tip: Deluxe Beachfront Villas with pools are honestly just steps from the beach and well worth the extra pennies…

Service & Facilities

The resort is surrounded by sun-kissed beaches, steep cliffs, and glistening ocean waves, and within the hotel grounds, you will find some equally beautiful ornamental gardens with great little walking paths intertwined within them. In addition to the spectacular natural environment, Alma Del Pacifico features an array of on-site amenities.

As the name suggests, the hotel also features a spa with four treatment rooms offering an extensive menu of deeply relaxing and invigorating therapies.

There is plenty to do during your stay in this part of Costa Rica, though it’s worth noting that a hire car really is a must as this beautifully secluded hotel is quite a distance from most places.

Visit one of Costa Rica’s famous surfing beaches, go white-water rafting, snorkeling, or SCUBA diving, not forgetting the world-famous fishing Costa Rica is renowned for, and for those preferring to stay on dry land, there are plenty of hikes in Costa Rica’s national parks, as well as rainforest canopy tours and finally, if you can’t survive a break without your clubs, then try a round of golf just north of Playa Jaco at La Iguana Golf Course in Herradura.

Food & Drink

The open-air, thatched-palm Mosaic Restaurant has views of the beach and gardens from every table and serves both gourmet international and delicious local Costa Rican dishes.

Set on Alma’s expansive stretch of beachfront, the Beach Bar offers a range of beers, wines, and unique specialty cocktails (try a Guaro Sour!) and is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a spectacular Costa Rican sunset.

Conclusion

Whether you want to get close to nature, experience the world-class surf or simply relax and unwind on your stay, the wonderful staff at Alma del Pacifico Beach Hotel & Spa will really go out of their way to try to make your stay something you’ll never forget.
